Chingford and Peter May is a great club. Thoroughly recommend training here. Moved back to this area 3 years ago and decided to return to Shotokan Karate. I had not realised that there was such a good organisation literally on my doorstep. Received a really warm welcome, top quality instruction and the oppportunity to compete. Absolutely no doubt in my mind that my Karate has got better and better as a resuit. All done in a traditional Shotokan Club – with respect and etiquette and with great people. Thank you!
Great news Helen. Thank you for your kind comments.
My son has been attending Chingford & Peter May Karate Club for over two years. He thoroughly enjoys the classes and is always enthusiastic to attend. Sensei Senel and her team work really hard and run a professional and well organised club. They will not tolerate poor behaviour and teach the kids discipline and respect whilst creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Karate is great for confidence and concentration skills and the team are great at providing appropriate feedback and encouragement so the kids and adults who attend can progress to the next level. I would definitely recommend the club to anyone looking to learn karate.
Our two sons have been attending Chingford & Peter May Karate Club for nearly a year now and the clubs are excellent! Sensei Senel and her team work really hard with the children (and adults) – they teach great discipline and respect as well as what’s needed to progress onto the next belt and our boys have grown in confidence, strength & technique and love Karate! THANK YOU Sensei Senel and all your team – we really appreciate what you do!
Review for Chingford/Peter May karate club::
I’ve been attending this excellent club for 12 months with my son. Sensei Senel runs a tight ship! While the dojo often gets quite full (testament to their popularity!), there are usually 3 Sensei in attendance ensuring ample coverage. They are very friendly and supportive, while instilling the right level of discipline to ensure all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Preparation for gradings is excellent to ensure all students are well-drilled, but they also encourage students to continually progress beyond what’s required. The club has a good community feel, participating in courses, competitions and local fairs. I would highly recommend to all ages/levels.
